Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary on-site engineering contact linking design, construction teams, contractors and EPCM partners.
- Review drawings, vendor documents and specifications to identify and resolve constructability and technical issues.
- Manage Site Technical Queries (STQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Site Instructions, redlines and as-built documentation.
- Lead constructability reviews and provide engineering input to construction planning and look-ahead activities.
- Coordinate technical matters with procurement, QA/QC, HSE, OEMs and Project Controls to keep execution on schedule.
- Lead and mentor site-based field and discipline engineers; escalate risks and propose mitigations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- Significant field/project engineering experience on large-scale industrial or greenfield construction projects.
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, vendor documentation and construction processes.
- Proven experience managing RFIs/STQs, field changes, technical deviations and as-built workflows.
- Good leadership, communication and stakeholder coordination skills; HSE and QA/QC awareness.
- Willingness to be site-based in Boden and to work collaboratively across disciplines under construction conditions.
