Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot in an API-first environment.
- Own features end-to-end: design, implementation, automated tests, CI/CD pipeline execution (Gradle) and production rollout.
- Design clear, consumable RESTful APIs for partners and internal consumers.
- Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot services running on AWS and Kubernetes; participate in on-call and operational tasks.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, senior engineers and cross-functional teams; contribute to code reviews and team ceremonies.
Requirements:
- Professional experience developing backend services in Java; strong familiarity with Spring Boot.
- Practical experience with microservice architectures, REST API design and automated testing practices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS), container orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD tooling (Gradle pipelines).
- Good debugging and operational skills for production systems and a willingness to take ownership of service health.
- Comfortable working in agile teams and participating in collaborative design and delivery processes.
