About the role
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end product areas: implement features across frontend, backend, APIs, data and integrations
- Build user interfaces with Vue/React/Angular and TypeScript and backend services using Python/FastAPI
- Implement asynchronous workloads with Celery and design sound data models on Postgres
- Design and maintain APIs, improve performance, reliability and observability as usage grows
- Set engineering standards for testing, maintainability and deployment; contribute to CI/CD and IaC (GitHub Actions, Terraform)
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to deliver user-centred solutions and iterate quickly
Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering production web platforms as a full-stack engineer
- Strong frontend experience with a modern framework (Vue, React or Angular) and TypeScript
- Backend experience with FastAPI (preferred) or similar frameworks, and familiarity with Celery
- Solid experience with relational databases (Postgres) and API design
- Comfortable with cloud platforms, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and observability tools (OpenTelemetry)
- Product-minded, strong communicator and able to work closely with Product/Design teams
- Curiosity about AI and willingness to apply AI-native ways of working to ship quickly
