Responsibilities:
- Define and own a scalable test automation strategy tailored for a low-latency trading environment.
- Lead AI/ML testing initiatives focused on Model Context Protocol (MCP) and integrate Playwright (Python) for adaptive, low-maintenance suites.
- Mentor and coach Senior, Mid and Junior automation engineers; enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Represent QA in architecture and design reviews to ensure testability across distributed microservices.
- Architect and maintain polyglot automation frameworks (API, UI, Database, Mobile).
- Plan and execute performance/load testing (k6, Locust); analyze latency/throughput and recommend tuning.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps for fast, reliable test gates.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in QA automation with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior mentorship role, preferably in FinTech/Forex or high-transaction systems.
- Expert coding skills in one or more modern languages (Python, Java, JavaScript) and strong object-oriented design knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, API/UI/DB testing and mobile testing approaches.
- Proven experience with performance and load testing tools (k6, Locust) and interpreting low-latency metrics.
- Practical experience integrating automation into CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and using Docker/Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated ability to design maintainable frameworks, drive adoption of AI/ML testing concepts, and lead cross-functional QA efforts.
