Responsibilities:
- Own quality for backend systems and mobile applications within a core product team.
- Perform manual smoke, feature, and regression testing to validate releases.
- Design, implement, and contribute to test automation using frameworks such as JUnit and Appium.
- Review product requirements for clarity and testability; create and maintain test cases, checklists, and documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and collaborate with developers and analysts.
- Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and verify fixes in production-like environments.
- Use proxy and logging tools to reproduce issues and validate network/API behavior.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on QA experience, including backend and mobile application testing.
- Practical experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Appium) and manual API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia).
- Familiarity with proxy tools (Charles, Proxyman) and log analysis platforms (Graylog, Kibana).
- Experience with mocking, test data management, and testing backend services/APIs.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, regression strategies, and QA best practices within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment; fluent English (written and verbal).
