Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a native mobile engineering team (Android and iOS) to deliver reliable, performant apps.
- Set technical direction, lead architecture decisions and ensure high-quality implementation of mobile features.
- Work with Product to define OKRs, plan roadmaps and prioritise outcomes that impact customer experience.
- Drive recruitment, onboarding and professional development; foster a collaborative and inclusive culture.
- Coordinate cross-team delivery, manage stakeholders and ensure smooth releases and rollouts.
- Champion best practices: automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD and performance monitoring.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep experience in native mobile development (Android: Kotlin, Coroutines, Compose or iOS: Swift, UIKit, Autolayout).
- Proven experience as an engineering manager leading end-to-end delivery of mobile products.
- Experience hiring and scaling engineering teams and mentoring engineers at different levels.
- Strong problem-solving, prioritisation and communication skills; comfortable with stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with agile processes and measuring team outcomes via OKRs.
