Responsibilities:
- Lead and empower a cross-platform native mobile team (Android and iOS); set direction and enable autonomy.
- Define and track team OKRs; prioritise work with Product and stakeholders to achieve business goals.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance on architecture, performance and platform improvements.
- Drive hiring, onboarding and career development; build an inclusive, high-performing engineering culture.
- Coordinate with other feature teams to deliver end-to-end mobile features and ensure quality releases.
- Promote engineering best practices: code reviews, testing, CI/CD and observability.
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar, or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in at least one native platform: Android (Kotlin, Coroutines, Compose, RxJava) or iOS (Swift, UIKit, Autolayout).
- Proven track record as an engineering manager leading teams to deliver complex mobile products.
- Experience recruiting, coaching and scaling diverse engineering teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, prioritisation and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with agile practices, OKRs and mobile performance optimisation.
