Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust backend services and APIs using Python and Django.
- Own feature lifecycle from specification through testing, deployment and monitoring.
- Build and maintain background processing, LLM integrations, and agent orchestration.
- Implement and operate data pipelines that enable proactive AI-driven product behavior.
- Maintain and evolve cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform and IaC best practices.
- Collaborate closely with founders, product and CTO to deliver high-polish, production-ready systems.
Requirements:
- 5+ years building backend production systems with Python and Django.
- Strong SQL and schema design experience.
- Practical experience with background job systems (e.g. Celery) and async workflows.
- Experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines or similar AI/LLM infrastructure.
- Hands-on with GCP, Terraform, and cloud-native operations.
- Proven track record of owning features end-to-end and improving reliability at scale.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills for cross-functional work.
