Senior DevOps Engineer at Lionhires

Responsibilities:
- Design and operate resilient, highly available infrastructure for production workloads.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters (bare‑metal deployment using Kubespray) and maintain cluster configuration.
- Improve and author Helm charts for application delivery and upgrades.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab for automated, repeatable deployments.
- Implement and maintain observability stacks (Prometheus, ELK) and system performance monitoring.
- Use Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Configure and manage network / service mesh components (Istio, Calico) and edge services (CloudFlare).
- Collaborate with development teams to drive reliability, incident response, and production stability.

Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes on bare metal; familiarity with Kubespray for cluster provisioning.
- Practical experience with Istio and Calico for networking and service mesh.
- Proficient writing and maintaining Helm charts.
- Solid knowledge of Terraform and Ansible for IaC and configuration management.
- Experience operating Prometheus and ELK in cluster environments.
- Strong Linux skills (Debian-based distributions) and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar CI systems.
- Advanced English (spoken and written).
- Nice to have: prior AWS or GCP experience and exposure to CloudFlare configuration.
