Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain backend services (Java/Kotlin) for client-facing systems (authentication, KYC, T&C consent).
- Build and operate cloud-native microservices using Spring, Docker and AWS (ECS, Fargate, Lambda).
- Implement secure, GDPR-compliant data flows and consent handling across the client journey.
- Develop and maintain integrations with Salesforce and public website components to improve marketing and support workflows.
- Deliver production-quality code: unit/integration tests, CI/CD pipelines, observability and automated deployments.
- Collaborate within agile, self-managed teams to deliver features end-to-end and improve engineering practices.
- Treat security as first-class: implement secure APIs (REST/GraphQL), JWT handling and threat-aware coding.
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years backend experience with Java and/or Kotlin and Spring ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS, Fargate, Lambda) and cloud-native patterns.
- Strong knowledge of microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, SQL and NoSQL stores.
- Practical experience with Docker, Git, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of authentication flows, KYC processes, GDPR and secure data handling.
- Good communication skills, ability to work in cross-functional teams and deliver production features.
