Responsibilities:
- Build, operate and scale foundational cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, service mesh, networking) across AWS and GCP.
- Develop backend services, controllers and tools to simplify infrastructure for product teams.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines for safe deployments.
- Improve observability, reliability and incident response for platform components (metrics, logging, SLOs).
- Automate routine operations and migrations to support growth and multi-cloud consistency.
- Collaborate with product, security and platform teams to design secure, performant and scalable systems.

Requirements:
- Significant professional software engineering experience, preferably with strongly typed languages (Go).
- Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes, Envoy/service mesh and cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP).
- Practice with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automated deployment tooling.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, APIs, reliability and performance trade-offs.
- Experience building developer-facing tools and improving developer experience across teams.
- Clear communicator, pragmatic problem solver and experience working on high-scale production services.
