Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency services in Rust for time-sensitive financial workflows.
- Build and maintain real-time streaming pipelines, event processing and feedback loops.
- Implement robust, testable financial logic with strict correctness guarantees.
- Profile and benchmark CPU, memory and network to optimize performance and reliability.
- Collaborate on API design, data models and overall system architecture; ensure observability and fault tolerance.
Requirements:
- University degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong production experience with Rust (ownership, lifetimes, concurrency, async, error handling).
- Hands-on experience with Docker, AWS and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Deep systems thinking: latency, throughput, backpressure and failure modes.
- Proven track record building high-performance services in production; experience with low-latency systems preferred.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; commitment to well-architected, testable and documented code.
- Experience with distributed architectures, domain-driven design or AI-assisted dev tools is a plus.
