Responsibilities:
- Design and implement intuitive, maintainable UIs using React and TypeScript for banking workflows (transaction monitoring, corporate actions, operational dashboards).
- Build and maintain reusable component libraries and promote a unified design system.
- Collaborate with backend, platform and product teams to translate complex domain workflows into scalable frontend architectures.
- Ensure accessibility (a11y), cross-browser compatibility and high web performance; optimise bundle size and runtime.
- Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, E2E) and contribute to CI/CD and release processes.
- Operate cloud-native frontends on AWS (ECS/Fargate, Lambda) and apply security best practices.
- Mentor peers, perform code reviews and drive engineering excellence.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in frontend development with strong React and TypeScript expertise; Next.js experience is a plus.
- Solid skills in HTML5, CSS3, WebPack and component-driven design (Material Design or similar).
- Hands-on experience with test automation (Cypress), CI/CD pipelines and modern testing practices.
- Demonstrable focus on web performance and accessibility for utility-driven applications.
- Familiarity with AWS services and DevOps/cloud-native deployment patterns.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in agile/self-managed teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
