Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and scale distributed backend systems for high-throughput data ingestion.
- Own end-to-end delivery: design, implement, deploy, and monitor production features.
- Architect real-time, low-latency APIs and services to process large-scale data streams.
- Implement cloud-native Java services with a focus on reliability and performance.
- Work with infrastructure teams on AWS deployments, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS).
- Ensure resiliency, fault tolerance, and compliance for high-throughput systems.
- Collaborate with product, infra, and frontend teams; contribute to technical best practices and documentation.

Requirements:
- BSc/BEng/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
- Proficient in Java (17+) and building cloud-native services.
- Experience with distributed data systems and messaging (e.g., Kafka, Redis) and relational databases.
- Practical experience designing scalable systems serving millions of users or high-throughput services.
- Familiarity with AWS (or similar), Docker, and Kubernetes/ECS.
- Strong understanding of high-availability, failover, monitoring, and observability practices.
- Clear communicator able to explain complex technical concepts across teams.
