Responsibilities:
- Rapidly build and iterate advanced AI prototypes (LLMs and AI tooling) that are robust enough for real user feedback.
- Design prototype architectures that are maintainable and can be productised later (scalability, privacy, observability).
- Run experiments, demos and evaluations to measure user value and technical feasibility; analyse results and recommend next steps.
- Collaborate with product, engineering and leadership to define scope, user journeys and success metrics.
- Share findings with the internal AI community, participate in code review, pairing and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements:
- BSc/MSc in CS or related field and 5+ years professional software engineering experience with shipped systems.
- Strong foundations in system design, distributed systems and engineering best practices.
- Hands-on experience building prototypes or products that use LLMs or AI tooling; comfortable with experimentation and ambiguity.
- User-centred mindset: ability to translate technical capabilities into smooth user experiences and measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills to present technical work clearly to engineers, product teams and stakeholders.
