Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure security services used across the organization.
- Own components end-to-end, including implementation, production operation, monitoring and incident response.
- Improve availability, scalability, latency and efficiency of security systems and services.
- Build automation, tooling and documentation to improve developer security posture and experience.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews and whiteboarding; contribute to on-call rotations focused on prevention.
- Partner with product and platform engineers to integrate security early and reduce operational toil.
Requirements:
- Experience building and operating cloud-native distributed systems in production.
- Production-quality coding experience in Python or Go and familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Understanding of networking, IAM, container orchestration and secure system design principles.
- Experience with monitoring/observability, incident response and operational excellence practices.
- Strong collaboration, communication skills and a security-first mindset.
