Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain server-side services, REST/GraphQL APIs and business logic using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Model data and manage PostgreSQL/Supabase schemas, queries, row-level security and realtime features.
- Deploy and operate services on GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub) and manage IAM and service configuration.
- Write and maintain unit, integration and E2E tests (e.g., Jest); participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality.
- Implement secure authentication/authorization, data protection and follow Clean Code / Clean Architecture principles.
- Establish logging, monitoring and alerting; own incident response and uptime improvements.
- Collaborate with product and frontend teams, mentor peers and document architecture decisions.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript and production-grade backend development.
- Experience with Supabase or PostgreSQL-centered backends and advanced SQL.
- Practical experience deploying and operating services on cloud platforms (preferably GCP serverless).
- Solid understanding of Clean Code, Clean Architecture, API design and testing practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, observability tooling and incident response workflows.
- Good communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
