Responsibilities:
- Own features end‑to‑end in the Grow & Engage domain: discovery, design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Designers to translate user needs into scalable backend solutions for signup, memberships and engagement.
- Contribute to and improve microservice design, APIs, data models and cloud architecture.
- Manage individual priorities, participate in knowledge sharing and propose improvements during GSDD sessions.
- Write well‑tested, documented, secure code and contribute to operations and monitoring where needed.
Requirements:
- Experience developing production services with a JVM language and Spring Boot (Kotlin is a plus).
- Solid understanding of microservice architecture and cloud deployments (preferably AWS).
- Familiarity with relational databases (Postgres preferred) and exposure to non‑relational stores.
- Strong emphasis on testing, documentation, security and maintainability.
- Good communication and collaborative skills; ability to work in a hybrid setup (Berlin or Barcelona).
