Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Tech Lead to architect, design and deliver backend services for the Payments segment.
- Implement, test, deploy and maintain reliable, high-performance microservices.
- Mentor and support junior engineers; enforce code quality through reviews and best practices.
- Work within cross-functional teams to define requirements, ensure security and operational readiness.
- Keep systems maintainable and scalable; participate in design discussions and technical improvements.

Requirements:
- Strong experience building production services with a JVM language and Spring Boot; Kotlin is a plus.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native patterns (preferably AWS).
- Experience with relational databases (Postgres) and familiarity with non-relational stores.
- Proven testing, CI/CD and code review discipline; ability to write well-tested, well-documented code.
- Full professional proficiency in English and excellent communication skills.
- Bias for action, security awareness and experience working in fast-moving product teams.
- Experience mentoring peers and contributing to technical standards and architecture.
