Responsibilities:
- Design, build and evolve scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Deploy and operate containerized microservices using Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, and Helm.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code for reproducible environments.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (e.g., Bitbucket Pipelines).
- Create internal automation and tooling using TypeScript and Deno.
- Define SLOs, monitor platform health, and lead incident response and postmortems.
- Apply security best practices: IAM least-privilege, TLS hardening, container vulnerability scanning.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with GCP components: GKE, Cloud Logging/Monitoring, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager, Cloud SQL/PostgreSQL, VPC, DNS, Load Balancing.
- Strong expertise in containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker).
- Proven experience with IaC (Terraform/Cloud Deployment Manager) and GitOps-driven deployments.
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
- Comfortable writing automation and internal tools in TypeScript/Deno or similar languages.
- Solid understanding of platform monitoring, SLOs, incident management and security practices.
- Professional-level English and ability to work in a cross-functional engineering team.
