Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain core C++ and Python components that interface autonomy models with vehicle and embedded systems.
- Build and operate infrastructure to communicate with, run and test self-driving capabilities separate from ML model development.
- Own reliability and performance for Linux-based systems; develop tooling and diagnostics for testing and validation.
- Integrate changes across geographically distributed teams and support releases and cross-team troubleshooting.
- Specialise in a domain (localisation/navigation/mapping, filtering/diagnostics, or control/inference) while collaborating across domains.
Requirements:
- Exceptional production C++ skills and experience writing performance-sensitive, maintainable code.
- Strong Python proficiency for tooling, integration and test infrastructure.
- Solid Linux development and debugging experience; comfortable operating in embedded/Linux environments.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and interfacing software to hardware or vehicle platforms.
- Automotive domain experience is advantageous but not required; strong systems-thinking and collaboration skills are essential.
