Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale data enrichment and curation programs to support model safety, robustness and introspection.
- Build workflows for mining hard/rare events, creating labelled corpora and integrating enrichment into pre-/mid-training and reward-modelling pipelines.
- Design and implement out-of-distribution detection and monitoring for safer autonomous operation.
- Collaborate across research, simulation, infrastructure, compute and data teams to shape cross-team architecture and MLOps practices.
- Improve efficiency and reliability of training/evaluation stacks; define metrics, monitoring and alerts for large-scale operations.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience deploying ML systems in the real world; strong software and MLOps practices.
- Proficiency in Python and PyTorch with experience building reliable training and evaluation systems.
- Experience with distributed computing, large-scale inference and data curation pipelines.
- Senior-level ownership and strong communication skills to lead technical areas and coordinate cross-functional work.
- Desirable: prior AV/robotics deployment experience, rare-event mining or simulator+fleet evaluation, and cloud monitoring/alerting experience.
