Responsibilities:
- Own technical roadmap and deliverables for Global KYC & Onboarding verification systems.
- Design, build and operate scalable microservices that handle the full verification lifecycle (document collection, automated review, agent tooling, monitoring).
- Make KYC/FinCrime capabilities configuration-driven so teams can adapt globally without code changes.
- Increase automation responsibly using ML/AI with safe fallbacks and strong observability.
- Ensure systems remain reliable, compliant and auditable under changing regulations and threat patterns.
- Collaborate with frontend, mobile, data, product and ops to ship production-grade verification flows and tooling.
- Tackle refactors, technical debt and platform scalability to support high-volume onboarding.
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience architecting and shipping scalable microservices and working with asynchronous message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar).
- Strong experience in database schema design, optimisation and operationalising data-heavy services.
- Deep product mindset with practical experience balancing compliance, reliability and user experience.
- Familiarity with ML/AI tooling for automation and a pragmatic approach to safe deployment and fallbacks.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally in regulated environments.
- Experience with observability, testing, CI/CD and incident response for production systems.
