Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow a London-based Connectivity engineering team building MCP proxy, OAuth/token management and related connectivity services.
- Hire, coach and develop engineers; run performance management and create an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
- Define roadmap and partner with product, security, platform and San Francisco leadership to deliver cross-site initiatives.
- Establish operational rigor: on-call practices, incident response, postmortems and reliability SLAs for critical infra.
- Drive architectural decisions, ensure scalability and availability, and represent the team in engineering-wide initiatives.

Requirements:
- Proven experience managing software engineering teams, including hiring, coaching and performance processes.
- Strong technical background in backend/platform engineering and production distributed systems.
- Experience with connectivity patterns: OAuth, token refresh, API proxies/gateways and multi-tenant concerns.
- Track record of shipping reliable infrastructure used by other teams and external partners; strong operational discipline.
- Excellent cross-team communication skills and ability to coordinate across timezones and organizational boundaries.
