Responsibilities:
- Design and implement low-latency, high-throughput services in Rust for time-sensitive financial workloads.
- Implement correct, testable financial logic with strong correctness guarantees and clear APIs.
- Build and maintain streaming pipelines, event processing and real-time feedback loops.
- Profile and optimize CPU, memory and network performance; apply benchmarking and backpressure strategies.
- Collaborate on system architecture, data models and API design across teams.
- Contribute to documentation, automated tests and CI/CD to ensure reliability and observability.
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Extensive production experience with Rust (ownership, lifetimes, concurrency, async, error handling).
- Strong familiarity with Docker, AWS and Terraform in production environments.
- Deep systems thinking around latency, throughput, backpressure and failure modes.
- Proven experience building high-performance, low-latency services and streaming systems.
- Clear communication skills across engineering and product stakeholders; focus on well-architected, testable code.
- Experience with domain-driven design, distributed architectures; familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools is a plus.
