Responsibilities:
- Own and execute end-to-end deployments to on-premise and hybrid customer environments: rollout, commissioning, and go-live support.
- Configure and validate infrastructure (compute, storage, clusters, networking, mTLS) to meet production readiness.
- Develop and maintain deployment automation, runbooks, standardized procedures, and CI/CD-driven workflows.
- Implement automated rollback and recovery processes; test backup and recovery strategies to meet RTO/RPO objectives.
- Monitor system health and capacity; manage patching, upgrades, and lifecycle activities.
- Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues and support Customer Success during escalations.
- Coordinate with customer IT and internal teams on network, security, and hardware integration; document site-specific configurations and feedback into tooling.
Requirements:
- Strong Linux systems administration and experience with container runtimes (Docker, Docker Compose).
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating Kubernetes in production.
- Solid networking knowledge (VLANs, firewalls, VPN, DNS) and experience with OT/IT or restricted networks is a plus.
- Experience with IaC/automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitLab) and Git.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) and certificate/PKI management.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex, heterogeneous environments.
- Nice to have: air-gapped deployments, Helm, GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), Debian packaging, OT/IT convergence experience, relevant certifications (RHCE/LPIC/CKA).
