Responsibilities:
- Own and execute end-to-end software deployments across on-premise and hybrid customer environments (rollout, commissioning, go-live support).
- Configure and validate infrastructure components (compute, storage, clusters, networking, mTLS) for production readiness.
- Build and maintain deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, runbooks, and standardized procedures.
- Implement automated rollback and recovery workflows and test backup/recovery strategies against RTO/RPO targets.
- Monitor system health and capacity; perform lifecycle tasks such as patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure incidents and support Customer Success during escalations.
- Coordinate with customer IT and internal teams on network, security, and hardware integration; document site-specific setups and feedback improvements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of tooling, workflows, and internal test environments.
Requirements:
- Strong Linux systems administration experience and familiarity with container runtimes (Docker, Compose).
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating Kubernetes in production.
- Solid networking knowledge: VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, OT/IT considerations.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab), Git, and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments; experience with certificate management/PKI.
- Nice-to-have: air-gapped deployments, Helm/GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), industrial/OT networking, Debian packaging, RHCE/LPIC/CKA certifications.
