Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain platform components in Java across the full development lifecycle.
- Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and apply TDD/automation best practices.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and production support to deliver well-tested, reliable solutions.
- Participate in production support and incident response; take ownership of issue resolution and root-cause analysis.
- Work with databases, messaging/queueing systems, cloud platforms, and observability/monitoring tools.
- Identify and escalate technical and delivery risks; contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and tooling.
- Coordinate with global engineering teams to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on Java development experience in an agile environment.
- Practical experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and TDD practices.
- Familiarity with database technologies, messaging/queueing systems, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and production support processes (incident management, troubleshooting).
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle, version control, and deployment automation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with cross-functional and global teams.
- Proactive problem-solver who can identify risks and drive technical improvements.
