Responsibilities:
- Design and implement backend services powering AI-driven supply chain planning and execution.
- Architect data models and pipelines to ingest, clean, and organize messy real-world CPG/logistics data.
- Ensure reliable real-time request processing and continuous execution for operational workflows.
- Write and optimize high-performance SQL queries and data-access patterns for large datasets.
- Ship production-grade services with robust testing (pytest) and maintain deployments, runbooks, and on-call practices.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to translate logistics problems into elegant, scalable software.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with a track record of delivering production systems.
- Proficiency in Python and modern frameworks (e.g., FastAPI) and strong testing skills (pytest).
- Strong SQL expertise, including performance tuning for millions of rows.
- Experience designing scalable system and data architectures and handling unstructured, messy data.
- Familiarity with real-time processing and operating systems 24/7 via deployment/runbook ownership.
- Experience with AI code-generation tools and practices is a plus; AWS, DevOps, and supply-chain domain experience are desirable.
