Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and operate secure, scalable backend services for authentication, KYC and client data processing.
- Improve and maintain consent flows, GDPR-compliant processing and client-facing identity systems.
- Maintain and evolve Salesforce integrations and public web interfaces to support marketing and support processes.
- Collaborate with security, product and operations to ensure compliance, observability and robust incident response.
- Apply AI tooling where it adds customer value and operational efficiency in client journeys.
- Contribute to engineering best practices: tests, CI/CD, documentation and cloud-native deployments (AWS/ECS/Fargate).
Requirements:
- University degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience and strong backend engineering background (Java/Kotlin).
- Experience with microservices, Spring ecosystem, containerisation and cloud-native AWS services.
- Strong understanding of authentication, identity, KYC processes, GDPR and security considerations.
- Practical experience with API design (REST/GraphQL), databases (SQL/NoSQL) and CI/CD/testing practices.
- Excellent analytical and product-oriented mindset, fluent English communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Prior fintech or regulated-industry experience is advantageous.
