Responsibilities:
- Work with customers to define requirements and translate them into product and technical solutions.
- Design and build scalable backend infrastructure to handle thousands of AI-driven conversations daily.
- Implement user-facing features and tooling using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python where applicable.
- Own projects end-to-end: specification, implementation, production launch, and post-release support.
- Contribute to core architecture and performance tuning for async and real-time systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and participate in high-ownership, in-person engineering culture.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong PostgreSQL skills: complex queries, performance tuning, and schema design.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python; experience with async/real-time processing.
- Proven ability to take products from 0 to 1 and to own projects end-to-end.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working directly with customers.
- Willingness to work on-site in Berlin (visa sponsorship available).
- Nice-to-have: experience with Temporal.io, Twilio, Modal, or prior startup/voice platform experience.
