Responsibilities:
- Own core backend infrastructure supporting permissions, auditability, traceability and observability for hosted and self-hosted deployments.
- Design and maintain backend services using TypeScript and NestJS; implement data models with PostgreSQL and Prisma.
- Manage deployment architectures and automation using Terraform, Pulumi or similar IaC tools.
- Improve production reliability, security, performance and monitoring; respond to incidents and postmortems.
- Partner with product and ML teams to ship AI-native features and ensure operational quality.
Requirements:
- 1–6 years professional backend experience with TypeScript and NestJS in production.
- Solid PostgreSQL experience and practical use of Prisma or equivalent ORM.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi) and deployment automation.
- Demonstrated improvements in reliability, observability, security or performance in production systems.
- Familiarity with AI/ML or LLM-backed products is a strong plus; strong engineering and collaboration skills required.
