(Senior) DevOps Engineer at Augustus

Responsibilities:
- Own and scale the platform: design, build and operate AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, Terraform configurations, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead end-to-end reliability: implement observability, alerting, runbooks and on-call rotations; drive incident response and blameless postmortems.
- Automate deployments and developer workflows to accelerate shipping while enforcing safety and compliance for a regulated clearing bank.
- Drive large projects autonomously (e.g., PR environments, multi-region deployments) and influence the platform roadmap and standards.
- Partner with engineering, security and product teams to translate requirements into robust, production-grade infrastructure.

Requirements:
- 4+ years in DevOps/SRE or platform engineering with hands-on experience shipping cloud-native systems on AWS.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Terraform (or equivalent IaC) and managing production workloads.
- Proficiency in Python or Go and experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
- Solid understanding of observability, incident management, networking, IAM and security practices for cloud services.
- Proven autonomy, high ownership and the ability to drive cross-functional projects; willingness to be based in or relocate to Berlin.
