Responsibilities:
- Build and operate core platform services: AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, observability and incident response.
- Ship and own major projects (e.g., PR environments, multi-region deployments) and transition them to runbook/maintenance.
- Automate manual processes, improve developer experience and reduce deployment toil across teams.
- Implement production-grade reliability, security controls and auditability suitable for regulated banking.
- Partner with security, product and engineering to turn infrastructure into a competitive advantage.
Requirements:
- 4+ years in DevOps/SRE or platform roles with hands-on AWS and Kubernetes experience.
- Strong Terraform/IaC skills and practical CI/CD pipeline implementation (GitHub Actions or similar).
- Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and tooling; familiarity with container ecosystems.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, tracing and incident management practices.
- Willingness to work on-site in Berlin; experience in regulated environments (fintech/banking) is a plus.
