Responsibilities:
- Establish the company’s data foundation: source mapping, ingestion, core models, semantic layer and analytics tooling.
- Build robust, testable pipelines and data products that serve both humans and AI agents with reliable, low-latency data.
- Design and implement access controls, auditing and security practices to meet regulator requirements.
- Provide enablement: docs, self-serve queries, dashboards and onboarding for teams across engineering and business.
- Iterate quickly from prototype to production while embedding observability, data quality checks and automated recovery.
Requirements:
- 3+ years building production data stacks using cloud providers and warehouses (Snowflake, ClickHouse, Redshift or equivalent).
- Strong SQL, experience with orchestration tools and familiarity with streaming/batch ingestion patterns.
- Experience in regulated domains (banking/fintech/payments) or delivering auditable data systems preferred.
- Programming experience (Python or similar) for ETL, testing and automation; solid data modeling skills.
- Collaborative mindset, ability to own end-to-end projects and willingness to work from Berlin or relocate.
