Responsibilities:
- Architect, deploy and operate scalable multi-account/multi-region cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible and GitOps workflows (Flux/ArgoCD).
- Operate, secure and optimise Kubernetes clusters; manage service mesh (Istio) and cluster networking/security components.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated, reliable deployments and container image lifecycle management.
- Own secrets and identity integration (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager) and enforce secure access controls and auditing.
- Implement monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics) and ensure backup/restore and disaster recovery plans.
- Design traffic routing, load balancing and service mesh configurations for high availability and low latency.
- Collaborate across teams, document solutions, share best practices and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Advanced Kubernetes experience: operations, networking, policies and automation.
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Ansible, Docker and container orchestration.
- Proficient scripting in Bash, Python or Go for automation and tooling.
- Proven experience managing multi-account/multi-region AWS environments and cloud services.
- Familiarity with GitOps tools (Flux/ArgoCD), service mesh (Istio) and security tooling (Vault).
- Experience with observability stacks and backup/DR practices.
- Strong collaboration, communication and mentoring skills; ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
