(Senior) Frontend Engineer - Banking Platform (m/f/x) at Scalable GmbH

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement intuitive, maintainable UIs for the banking platform using React and TypeScript.
- Build and reuse components within a design system to support complex workflows (transaction monitoring, dashboards, corporate actions).
- Work with backend and platform engineers to integrate APIs, improve performance and ensure secure, testable code.
- Own features from development to production: CI/CD, automated tests (Cypress), and observability.
- Contribute to engineering excellence, code reviews, and UX decisions in an agile team.

Requirements:
- Degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript and modern frontend tooling (Next.js, Webpack, Cypress).
- Good HTML/CSS skills and familiarity with component libraries (Material Design or similar).
- Experience with cloud-native environments and AWS (ECS/Fargate, Lambda) and DevOps practices.
- Focus on test automation, performance, accessibility and clear communication with stakeholders.
