About the role
Responsibilities:
- Build, scale and maintain the design system: components, tokens, docs and supporting tooling.
- Shape component APIs that guide correct use by developers and AI-assisted tools.
- Implement robust, performant React + TypeScript components with strong testing and quality standards.
- Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) and bake a11y into design and development workflows.
- Own developer-facing tools: Storybook, documentation, versioning and migration paths.
- Support theming, white-labeling, localization and RTL for global usage.
- Collaborate closely with design, product, accessibility and engineering teams to drive adoption and roadmap.
- Track adoption and contributor feedback to prioritize improvements.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience including 3+ years at senior level working on frontend platforms or shared UI systems.
- Demonstrable ownership of a design system or multi-product component library.
- Expert React and TypeScript skills and solid frontend architecture experience.
- Proven experience delivering accessible components and familiarity with WCAG standards.
- Experience with Storybook, design tokens, theming, localization and performance tuning.
- Strong remote collaboration skills and ability to influence across disciplines.

Requirements
Candidates must have at least 5 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years at a senior level in frontend platforms or shared UI systems. Expert knowledge of React, TypeScript, and accessibility standards is required, along with a strong ability to work collaboratively in a remote-first environment.
