Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the design system: component library, design tokens, docs, Storybook and developer tooling.
- Make the system AI-friendly so both engineers and AI agents can consume components, tokens and machine-readable interfaces.
- Define clear, robust component APIs that reduce misuse and make correct implementations intuitive.
- Implement high-quality React + TypeScript components with a focus on performance and consistency.
- Embed accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) and localization/RTL/theming support into components and processes.
- Improve developer experience: versioning, migrations, contribution workflows and adoption monitoring.
- Partner with designers, product managers and engineers to take components from concept to production-ready.

Requirements:
- 5+ years in software engineering with 3+ years at senior level, including ownership of frontend platforms or shared UI systems.
- Deep practical experience with React and TypeScript and building component libraries at scale.
- Strong accessibility knowledge (WCAG), API design skills and familiarity with Storybook and design tokens.
- Experience with localization, theming, performance optimization and responsive design.
- Excellent cross-team communication and a track record of driving adoption of shared components.
