Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain backend services for authentication, KYC and client-facing flows using Java/Kotlin.
- Build and operate cloud-native services on AWS (ECS/Fargate, Lambda) with microservices patterns and containerization.
- Implement secure, testable and well-documented APIs (REST/GraphQL) and integrate with Salesforce and public web systems.
- Drive CI/CD, test automation and DevOps best practices to deliver reliable production releases.
- Collaborate with product, security and operations to deliver GDPR-compliant data processing and scalable solutions.
- Mentor engineers, perform code reviews and raise engineering excellence across the tribe.
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable practical experience.
- 5+ years backend experience with Java and/or Kotlin, Spring ecosystem and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in API design (REST/GraphQL), data stores (SQL/NoSQL) and authentication patterns (JWT, OAuth).
- Strong engineering mindset: clean code, observability, performance and security as first-class concerns.
- Excellent collaboration skills and experience working in agile teams.
