Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop and maintain backend systems focused on authentication, KYC and GDPR-compliant client workflows.
- Deliver scalable microservices using Java/Kotlin, Spring and containerized deployments on AWS (ECS/Fargate, Lambda).
- Produce clean, well-tested code and help build automated CI/CD pipelines and test suites.
- Integrate and maintain Salesforce and public website components to improve client communication and support.
- Collaborate closely with product, security and operations to ensure compliance and data protection throughout the client journey.
- Coach peers, participate in design reviews and promote engineering best practices across the team.
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable practical experience.
- Significant backend development experience with Java/Kotlin and microservices architecture.
- Proven experience with AWS services, containerization (Docker), CI/CD and test automation.
- Competence in API design (REST/GraphQL), databases (SQL/NoSQL) and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
- Strong problem-solving, communication skills and experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
- Security and privacy awareness when designing client-facing systems.
