Responsibilities:
- Act as the Product Manager for Regulatory Technology, treating control functions (AML, Finance, Compliance, Risk) as primary clients.
- Translate regulatory requirements into clear product requirements, technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Partner closely with data engineering to design compliant, reliable data pipelines and reporting solutions.
- Prioritise and own the RegTech roadmap, balancing regulatory urgency, risk mitigation and delivery effort.
- Automate manual control workflows to reduce operational risk and improve scalability.
- Monitor regulatory changes, liaise with compliance/legal and ensure solutions meet reporting obligations.
- Drive cross-functional coordination, run discovery and validation with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery.
Requirements:
- Several years of product management experience, ideally in RegTech, fintech or financial services.
- Strong technical affinity with data engineering, data lakes and regulatory reporting systems.
- Familiarity with AML, compliance processes and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Experience writing technical specifications and working with engineering teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, ability to prioritise under regulatory pressure and communicate clearly.
- Comfortable working in agile environments with tools like Jira and Confluence.
