Responsibilities:
- Convert business problems into technical designs and lead delivery from design to production for Checkout APIs.
- Help define and implement a scalable API architecture (PHP-based) alongside colleagues, ensuring maintainability and performance.
- Apply agile practices, TDD, and pair programming to improve code quality and delivery cadence.
- Select pragmatic tools for the job; optimize data, caching, and latency-sensitive paths.
- Contribute to team practices, code reviews, and mentoring to raise overall engineering standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend experience, including proven Golang proficiency and strong PHP framework knowledge (Symfony or Laravel).
- Solid grounding in software architecture, SOLID principles, and distributed system design.
- Practical experience with MySQL (performance tuning) and Redis (caching strategies).
- Familiarity with TDD, pair programming, and collaborative agile workflows.
- Experience with GenAI or related technologies is advantageous.
- Fluent English communication and an independent, ownership-oriented approach.
