Responsibilities:
- Execute manual smoke, feature, and regression tests to validate backend services and releases.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright (TypeScript) and Node.js.
- Review product requirements and specifications for clarity, testability, and edge cases.
- Create and update test documentation: checklists, test cases, and test data sets.
- Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and work with engineers to resolve defects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure reliable backend integrations and observability.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation and manual testing.
- Practical experience with Playwright (TypeScript) and Node.js test tooling.
- Familiarity with BDD testing approaches and writing clear, maintainable test scenarios.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, QA best practices, and test data management.
- Experience with log analysis tools (Graylog, Kibana) and mocking/stubbing techniques.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams; strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent English; Russian is advantageous. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
