Responsibilities:
- Write clean, performant backend services primarily in Go following TDD and DDD principles.
- Design and implement new microservices; plan and execute safe migrations away from Ruby monolith components.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers and data scientists to translate product requirements into technical designs.
- Optimize services for low latency, high throughput and operational reliability under heavy load.
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to maintain high-quality releases.
Requirements:
- 3+ years backend experience (5+ for senior) building scalable services and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of Go or another systems language (we hire for fundamentals over syntax).
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis and message brokers (RabbitMQ/Kafka).
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform for deployment and infra management.
- Good English (B2+) and ability to discuss technical trade-offs across teams.
