Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze requirements to create testable scenarios and edge-case coverage.
- Plan and execute manual API and integration tests for backend payment services.
- Develop, maintain and run automated tests using JavaScript/TypeScript (Jest) integrated into CI/CD.
- Use Postman/Insomnia and log analysis tools (Graylog, Kibana) to investigate failures and perform root cause analysis.
- Integrate tests with Jenkins/GitLab CI and use Git for version control and collaboration.
- Improve test coverage, automation framework and participate in code reviews.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of backend-focused QA or test automation experience.
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript and experience with Jest or similar frameworks.
- Solid manual API testing skills (Postman/Insomnia) and familiarity with log analysis tools.
- Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Git workflows.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Good communication skills and fluent English.
- Nice to have: experience with payment providers, SQL/database testing, mock servers and related tooling.
