Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain backend services in Python following clean, testable and maintainable practices.
- Implement and operate production-grade RESTful APIs (preferably FastAPI) with automated test coverage.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, custom runners and related tooling.
- Manage DevOps infrastructure and AWS resources (CloudFormation/Terraform, API Gateway, S3, Lambda, EKS).
- Package and deploy Windows artifacts (MSIX), and create/maintain PowerShell and Batch automation scripts.
- Work with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and artifact management (JFrog Artifactory).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a small, fast-moving robotics/aerospace environment and support system integration efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent industry experience.
- 2–5 years professional experience with Python and strong object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions), containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
- Practical knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Familiarity with REST APIs (FastAPI preferred), automated testing and DevOps best practices.
- Experience with Windows packaging (MSIX), PowerShell/Batch scripting and supporting mixed Linux/Windows environments.
- Good communication skills, willingness to learn and ability to operate in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
