Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain backend services for the Collections platform to manage delinquent loans and recovery workflows.
- Collaborate with product managers, backbook risk, and other engineering teams to design recovery strategies.
- Write clear, well-tested, and maintainable code; contribute to code reviews and team best practices.
- Operate and monitor services in production; participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across a large codebase and distributed systems.
- Balance speed and quality to deliver features that meet business goals while protecting system reliability.
- Participate in team growth activities and continuous learning.

Requirements:
- Previous work or internship experience building backend systems using Python or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with distributed systems concepts and tooling (AWS, MySQL, Kubernetes).
- Ability to translate business scenarios into multi-component technical solutions.
- Experience with testing, debugging, and code review practices.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset for global engineering teams.
- Demonstrated ownership of personal growth and readiness to join on-call rotations.
