About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and deliver backend, frontend and integration features for virtualization monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain connectors to third-party virtualization platforms and APIs (data collection, resilience, pagination, retries).
- Ensure scalability, performance and maintainability of product features; contribute to observability and monitoring (Datadog).
- Participate in L3 support and incident resolution, using logs, traces and diagnostics to triage complex issues.
- Contribute to architecture and design discussions; advocate for testing, CI/CD and engineering best practices.
- Work in an agile team, using AI tools where helpful to improve productivity and quality.
Requirements:
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience and 5+ years in software engineering.
- Strong Java backend skills and experience with REST/GraphQL API design and third-party integrations.
- Frontend experience with ReactJS and TypeScript is desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, or Azure/GCP), containerization and Kubernetes/Docker.
- Experience with observability tools (Datadog) and Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to AI concepts or integrations, strong problem-solving and continuous-improvement mindset.
- Excellent English communication skills and ability to work across teams.

Design, implement, and maintain product features across backend, frontend, and integration layers while developing connectors for external systems. Collaborate in an agile environment to troubleshoot issues and contribute to architecture discussions for optimal performance.

Requires a BSc or MSc in Computer Science with 5+ years of software engineering experience and proficiency in Java. Candidates should have experience with frontend technologies, API integrations, cloud environments, and a passion for continuous improvement.
