Responsibilities:
- Maintain and evolve AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and related IaC tooling.
- Design, deploy and operate containerised microservices with Docker and Kubernetes for scalable production environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) to automate deployments, rollbacks and environment provisioning.
- Implement observability: monitoring, logging, alerting across integration, staging and production; lead incident response and post-mortems.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enable platform usage, provide runbooks, documentation and platform onboarding.
- Evaluate new technologies, drive performance and reliability improvements, and implement security best practices to meet compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in Platform, Cloud or Site Reliability Engineering with production AWS experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform) and version-controlled infrastructure workflows.
- Proven skills in containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) in production environments.
- Experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI) and automation tooling for deployments.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Go and scripting for automation tasks.
- Solid understanding of monitoring/observability tools, incident management, capacity planning and security practices.
- Good communicator and team player comfortable working with agile, cross-functional teams and documenting operational processes.
