Responsibilities:
- Maintain, operate and continuously improve AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Design, deploy and scale microservices using Docker and Kubernetes; manage deployments and rollouts.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) to automate releases, infrastructure changes and configuration.
- Implement monitoring, alerting and incident response across integration, staging and production environments.
- Partner closely with application teams to enable platform usage, provide runbook documentation and support on-boarding.
- Evaluate new technologies and propose platform improvements focused on reliability, performance and security.
- Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with applicable standards; keep infrastructure documentation up to date.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in Platform/Site Reliability Engineering or similar operating cloud platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and IaC (Terraform preferred).
- Deep familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI or equivalent) and deployment automation.
- Practical knowledge of observability tooling, incident management and on-call practices.
- Basic to intermediate Go programming skills and experience scripting automation tasks.
- Good collaboration skills; experience working with agile teams and internal stakeholders.
- Understanding of security controls, compliance requirements and system administration fundamentals.
